Wordt steeds vooraf gegaan door een medeklinker (A - E - I - O - U

Numbering has always a constant prefix.

Press Goebel 2: is in use since 1978 and has two machines for numbering and another two for dating (one for the even and one for the uneven sheets).

On an uneven sheet of postage stamps one can see that the little point between day and month is situated a little bit higher than an sheets with an even number.

The 60 different stamps have been produced per 4 x 50 stamp on Wifag presses and per 6 x 50 stamps on the Goebel presses. Coil stamps were exclusively printed on Goebel presses. On thhis occasion one ration could print 360 stamps. On the two Wifag presses steel-engraving cylinders were changeable. This was also possible on the Goebel presses.

Nevertheless cylinders from the Wifag press could not be used on Goebel press and vice versa.

On the composition of stamps Elstrøm type nr 1581, we find a single frame. The effigy of King Boudewijn, BELGIE-BELGIQUE; the monogram CL (engraver C. Leclercqz) are all made by the late H. Elstrøm.

All new stamps were re-engraved by the engraver himself: frame around the stamp, BELGIE-BELGIQUE, the monograms and the value of the stamp.

Also re-engraved was the effigy of King Boudewijn.

General Direction 4, issued a regulation that stipulated an interdiction for engraving by mechanical or chemical means.

This was the reason why each stamp was re-engraved in the most precise style.
